About Us

McDonald's Greenhouse, Ltd. has over 23,000 square feet of greenhouses. Opening in 1995, we are family owned and operated. We grow every year, adding new greenhouses or perennial houses as needed. We produce annuals and perennials from plugs, starting in late February. Our Spring season begins the last Saturday of April. We are then open daily until we are sold out , usually by Father's Day. We produce several thousand annuals in flats, hanging baskets, hanging bags, window boxes and planters.

Our retail greenhouse is closed for the summer while we grow mums, pumpkins, gourds, wheat, straw and corn for the Fall season. We open again the last Saturday of August and are open daily until Halloween. We sell most of our inventory through our retail shop, located at 170 Pleasant Grove Road, Zanesville, Ohio However, we have several wholesale customers and also supply plants for 4-H and FFA club fund-raisers.
